I was told this HAT would LOOK GOOD ON ME!

The HAT has a NAME HEAD IN THE CLOUDS!

The hat is VERY Light weight and comfortable.

This HAT MAKER is an ARTIST who resides in CANADA.

I do not recall HOW I FOUND HER on INSTAGRAM but once there I couldNOT leave!

She Sculpts and Paints and even Sews.

HER NAME IS MARYAM KEYHANI!

I ADORE HER WHIMSY!

TO SEE WHAT I MEAN TAP HERE!

This summer she vacationed in BERLIN and SICILY the photos on INSTAGRAM are BEYOND!

I have a few pearls around my neck.

Cheap strands of Pearls!

THREE STRANDS interwoven create this look.

Not Hard To Do!

Where I will wear this HAT………WHO KNOWS!

THE EVENT has not found me yet, but it’s good to know I WILL BE READY!

THE PURE JOY of receiving it is worth the problem of WHERE DO I STORE IT?

Even BANKSY APPROVES!

I may need to start COLLECTING HER HATS!

That hat!!! Pure Contessa magic! Only you could handle the size of that hat and end up being the star in it. And I’ll have to remember your line about wearing it. “The event hasn’t found me yet”

PINK CLOUDS. IN THE PINK. PINK COTTON CANDY. PINK BALLOONS. A PINK CROWN…. THEY NEED TO RENAME THE RED CARPET THE PINK CARPET, AND YOU MUST LEAD, A VISION IN PINK, BEJEWELED WITH PEARLS.

I must admit, I expected to see a photo of you floating up into the air, a very fashionable, modern day Mary Poppins, adrift in mid-air, heading into a pink sunset. Carried away not by an umbrella, but by a HAT.

An amazing creation… by an amazing artist!!! And speaking of hat makers, (this must be a small, exclusive club, they may know each other)… a Mad Hatter lives at nickfouquet.com… home page video and ‘About’ offers yet another rabbit hole to explore the artistry of making handcrafted hats.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your hat! It is truly a work of art. I went to Maryam’s site and her hats are incredible. And the pearls! I bought an inexpensive graduated strand a few months ago and will now see if they’re still available. The cameo by Banksy is icing on the cake!!

Dear Contessa, my English is not very good because I am Born and live in Austria … therefore I had to look in the dictionary … ??? WHIMSY ??? … a new word for me I’ve never heard before … I guess in Austria we would say your SUPER-HAT is “abgefahren” … you will not find this word in German dictionarys either because it is a word created by our Teenagers when they want to say something ist cool, maybe a Little bit crazy, but absolutely adoreable and trendy …

noone else than you can wear such an extra ordinary creation so smart and with so much charme … bravo!!!

It’s very memorable. Don’t do anything naughty while wearing that chapeau, as you will immediately be recognized! I’ll bet the fabric feels lush. I’m a fabric feeler.

Ahhh!! Perfection!! Perhaps you found her via my newsletter? I’ve shared her work a couple times. I believe she is Persian. Her life is a reflection of her work, not the other way around… I mean that she lives eats and breathes as a hat maker. All things follow from the hats. What do you think?

I’ve always loved large hats and used to hack my way through the jungle in the Yucatán, in search of treasure, and would sometimes find a small village that rarely saw outsiders and there I’d be in a natural straw hat so big it needed its own airline seat. By the way they looked at me they probably thought I’d landed from Mars and I used my big hat to “beam me up.” I wore them other places but those hats are hard to find these days. Most of the hats I see are designed for millennials to wear on the back of their head. I think they’ve missed the point that hats protect your face from the sun! xoxox, Brenda

That’s a fabulous ensemble!! I would not have thought the colour would have much impact but it comes together beautifully, and with the ideal backdrop of your Home and Garden, you’ve found the perfect place to wear it!!! Do mind you keep it out of reach of your critters as they may mistake it for a cushion to rest their weary limbs upon, haha!!

    CHICKEN COOP for MARKET DAYS!They were my SONS EASTER BASKETS ONE YEAR!I have TWO over each door.I think I have changed the straw ONCE in about 20 years!!!Maybe I should do that AGAIN!!!

I love your hat. It is very flattering–it really does look like a cloud with its soft shape and color.
Re pearls, I have a story for you. A co-worker (he looked like Sean Connery and was fluent in Cantonese) was going to Hong Kong. He asked a few of his young colleagues if we wanted pearl necklaces. He undoubtedly had a ball negotiating each pearl, and he had them all strung, to the lengths we each specified. We paid him back on delivery. It’s still one of my prized possessions. Sadly he died earlier this year, having lived a long and full life, a mentor to me and to others.

  THATS the way PEOPLE use to be!WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO PEOPLE TODAY…….so rude, no service, no smiles.I was just telling my friend about the visit to the Vet the other day!YOU would have thought the way they spoke to me I was asking for the MOON!ALL I wanted was the dogs meds re-filled!”OH, you should call a couple of days before bla…bla…..bla.MY answer was I have tried that THREE TIMES and it’s NEVER READY for pick up!I have to wait at least 30 minutes after I have called a couple days ahead!BOTTOM LINE there was NO VET IN THE PLACE and the assistant who took WINSTONS blood pressure did not even KNOW what a normal pressure should be!HIS was over 200!!!!!!!!First she had the wrong cuff then she needed an extra set of hands and they kept doing it over and over……….POOR WINSTON.He was SO GOOD!

    If it is an iPhone, go to the photos, and look at “my albums”. You should be able to find a “Recently Deleted” album, and the video should be there.
    I didn’t know my phone hung on to photos I had deleted until I emptied that album. I can’t say for sure your Video will be there, but it probably is. Good luck!

Wear it around the house – that’s TRUE glamour when a woman dresses up for just walking around the house – just for herself. I had a dear friend that did this. We were close enough that I could drop in unannounced and the few times I did she was resplendant! In the 12 years we were friends I never once saw her without a hat. You remind me so much of her.
