Well,I thought I had a FRENCH BREAD CHAMBER available to offer to you all, but my new cat THEODORE seems to have taken it over for his bed!He seems to love the size and shape of it.Although, it does look like he is in jail!Maybe that is comforting since I did pick him up from the pound and he was in a similar type box when I knocked on the window to wake him from his slumber to see his rather large gorgeous face.Once I saw him in the window of his cell at the pound I just knew he was the cat for me!I announced to the volunteer that this cat would be going home with me but do show me the others……………I saw,I looked but not one spoke to me as much as this cat did.I had to wait for four long days before I could pick him up,but let me tell you he was so worth the wait.I adore my THEODORE or THERMADOR as my husband calls him!If you can………. go rescue an animal today. They bring so MUCH pleasure and love to your day.PS>Anyone out there know how I should be calling this antiquity? The name has escaped me.

This is so spooky!
We just got a new cat from our pound also! Wait till you see him!
My granddaughter and I picked him out!
His name is Louie; and he is a twin of Theodore! He was the friendlier cat; and we met them all!
When I got him home; I realized he matches the whole house!!Identical!

When I saw your new addition to the family and how he came to be in the Kirkpatrick casa it brought back memories of my first dog that I got from the pound while I was at University. Like you I just couldn’t leave “Sam” behind as he sat very quietly and looking longingly almost as if he was saying ” pick me, pick me” while all the other dogs around him barked their heads off. He gave me so much pleasure and was the most loyal of dogs.
So lucky Theodore for landing you as his family and for having the most decadent bedding to retire to! -

Well, Theodore/Thermadore has hit the Jackpot coming home with you Elizabeth! Clearly, he is no ordinary pussy cat, but one with style, taste & attitude. From the look of the photograph he most certainly has ownership of the French Bread Chamber and I can just hear him purr……”it doesn’t get much better than this”
Jours Heureux Theodore!!!!

Oh I love that picture!!!! My cat (Sinatra) used to loved confined spaces like that….although he never had one with so much character as a French Bread Chamber (never even heard of one of those before)!
You make me want to get a cat again….”Thermadore” just looks like he has belonged to you forever! Good choice!
