A Day In May

Elizabeth Curtain Dress

A DAY in MAY La Contessa headed North to HEALDSBURG with a few girlfriends to experience the art of making rose water. After a morning of plucking and collecting baskets full of red roses,we gals enjoyed a shopping spree at the local nursery. We just could not leave without a few new additions to the garden!Contessa, is featured in her one of the kind coats made from vintage curtains!Note the magical pockets, deep enough to gather the fresh eggs her chicks deliver on a daily basis!I honestly have to say its the best way to start the day .Making my way down the garden steps smelling the jasmine and roses and penny royal that fragrant the garden. To be greeted by MR.GREY and PAPA the roosters of the coop with their entourage of chicks has to be one of the better parts of my day!Remind me to speak of the days when our chicks roamed freely about the yard and would enter the CASA!!Magical times…………smart chickens…………especially when they found my bed and snuggled down in the down comforter! But that I will leave for another day…………..

Aha! I found the beginning. You are fabulous! Of course, why don’t we all have more pockets. They are so youthful looking. I remember seeing Meryl Streep at a Golden Globes event wearing a gorgeous satin skirt with pockets. You look divine!

As one of the girlfriends who accompanied you to the Rose event, can only say YOU made the garden look ever so more glorious. All eyes were a gaze when you floated through the garden path and camera shutters never stopped clicking. A fabulous day with a FABULOUS dear friend. abbracci Principessa p.s.
