HAT ATTACK competition at the DE YOUNG MUSEUM on Friday was indeed an EXTRAVAGANZA!We have a WINNER amongst our crowd!Guess who?LA CONTESSA, came strolling in at SECOND place for the MOST GLAMOROUS GARDEN HAT!She was out done by the VEGTABLE GARDEN DAME who was by all means ADORABLE but NOT GLAMOROUS!I will let YOU be the judge of that………………….Lets have our own competition!Shall we………………Please vote in the  comment area!I need to know if Iam having  illusions of GRANDEUR…………………….

What  a day.Beautiful floral displays done by our local florists FLORALI and Ron MORGAN.The florists were given a painting to be inspired from artwork at the DE YOUNG in SAN FRANCISCO.Totally, amazing how the flowers really capture the feel of the paintings.A born talent that is for sure.One I do not posses.But I can put a hat together in no time flat if the occasion arises.Just imagine a SOIREE where one could actually wear such an inspiration.Do those days still exists?Few and far between Iam afraid.A time gone by…………………but history and fashion tend to repeat.Lets hope it happens again in our LIFE TIME where people take care with how they are dressed and perceived by all. Wouldn’t that be a sight!
