It was indeed a special Mother’s day weekend for me as my youngest baby boy graduated from College! The day could not have been more perfect! The Tahoe lake setting, the weather and the fact that both of my boys were there made me feel sad and happy all at the same time!I had the camera and was battling with myself not to miss a moment but yet capture the event so I could re-live it!I was able to do both and hear laughter from the crowd as the speaker who announced the Graduates make commentary on each individual student.MY SON…………got laughter and applause from the crowd as the Dean read his accomplishments……………………way to go CANDYMAN!!!!!!!!!!This goes back to the 3rd grade where Nicholas had a business on the school bus!He sold candy and made VERY good money! At a young age we found him counting paper money in bed before going to sleep and wanting a safe for his birthday!Somehow, I was not surprised when I arrived at his house in Tahoe and there were three safes in the living room!!!!!!Big safes!!!!!!!!!Here are a few snaps from the event that made my husband and I so VERY proud!I have a new nickname for him as he has let the hair take over……….MOUNTAIN MAN, but he will always be our little THUGGY.An endearing name given to him by Giampiero as he was over 10 pounds at birth and would eat anything given to him!He always had a smile on his face and still does especially on this DAY!
