I love the tall boots and the epaulets but I can see the making of a double chin which I definitely inherited.Never-less,am always so in awe to find bits of history about my great, great ,great grandfather.I even own his dueling pistols. If any of you out there have any information or come across a book on NATHANAEL GREENE please contact me.I recently found out he employed ELI WHITNEY the founder of the cotton gin.Eli worked as a tutor for Nathanael Greene’s children in Savannah,Georgia. The article hinted that MRS.GREENE may have had something to do with the invention too, but of course we will never know if a woman’s input was put into action!

How did you find this out, through family or ancestry work? How proud you must be. Also, I vacationed in Savannah once, loved the town and can’t wait to go back. Wouldn’t mind living there.

La Contessa,
Nathanael is a man described as “second to none in enterprise in resource in sound judgment promptitude of decision”. Who does that remind me of? An enterprising woman to whom he is related. One who is creative and daring,,,ready to venture forth with total confidence unfettered with self-consciousness, . . eager to discover new adventures. I’m breathless waiting to hear of your next adventure!
