She always has to TWIST MY ARM on these POSTS and I am HAPPY she DID TODAY because YOU will get to MEET Tamera Beardsley!
Tamera is the ONE who made MY BIRTHDAY CROWN back in JULY!
IN FACT, YOU have met her before.
I portrayed her THREE YEARS AGO in an AGELESS STYLE POST HERE!
I will NEVER forget MY lunch date with A WELL STYLED LIFE when she asked me if I followed TAMERA!
I said, “NO who is she?”
Well, let me tell you I have NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY to find another GAL who adores clothing as much if NOT MORE than ME!
SO here we are the THREE of us sharing JACKETS and maybe a coat or THREE from me
as I doNOT WEAR JACKETS ANYMORE!
THIS JACKET was a GIFT to me!

IT was designed by IRIS APFEL.
I have HAD THIS COAT NOW for THREE YEARS.
IT has SNAPS instead of buttons so it can be worn as a TOP!
You all know I love YELLOW!
I recently had my HAIR CUT can you tell?
I’m going shorter in the BACK……but I can still pull it back and OUT of MY FACE which seems to be MY PREFERRED LOOK!
Have I mentioned recently how much I ADORE MY PIGGY?
I DO and if I can get MY computer WIZ to insert a little tape of MISTER BANKSY eating crab apples through the garage I will.
Its a bit long (46 SECONDS) but you will hear the ITALIAN at the end of the video speaking to BANKSY!
Watch for WINSTON and BANKSY’s STERN LOOK as if saying “These are MINE!”

This jacket MY GIRLFRIEND PAIMAN made years ago with her daughter……….
They took a normal JEAN JACKET added NEW GOLD BUTTONS and a bit of PINK TULLE!
I was in Los Angeles at the time and we went to see the Coco BEFORE Chanel MOVIE on
OCTOBER 12,2009.
Paiman’s signature is to write inside the garment where she wore it so without further ADO…….

I am still trying to WEED OUT what does NOT fit which is T-shirts and exercise pants……
I should probably keep ONLY THREE of each……..do you know how many I NEED TO TOSS?

HOW LONG HAVE I OWNED THIS?
Well, I actually gave it away and then GOT IT BACK a few years later.
MY GUESS is I have owned it for 14 years.
Those lamps were MY MOTHER’s.
The Italian has made them EARTHQUAKE PROOF!
ONE SWITCH turns the chandelier and those lamps on!
In between the lamps are MY WEDDING SHOES AND VEIL AND WEDDING INVITATION AND BOMBONIERE.
My wedding shoes were made for me……..SPECIAL with a low heel.
They are one of a kind.
The designer was GUCCI.
WORN ONE TIME ONLY!
(When you marry a man who’s family KNEW the GUCCI Family these things can HAPPEN!)
RHINESTONE jacket that too was MY MOTHERS!
I doubt in MY LIFETIME if I will have an occasion to wear this AGAIN!
It’s AGE is at least 40 years old.
However, these SWEATER COATS are MY STAPLE during the WINTER months here in Northern California.
Not Only do they LOOK GOOD they are warm and VERY comfortable.
Not cheap, I think they run about $300.00 but can take you from morning till night IN STYLE!
Plus, cover up those EXPENSIVE exercise pants we all run around in occasionally!

YES, this coat was made with old curtains.

I advised my Gorgeous seamstress to make the pocket Over Sized so I could glide to the chicken coop and collect EGGS!
DO YOU THINK I HAVE EVER ACTUALLY DONE THAT?
HECK NO,
BUT IT’S AN OPTION IF THE NEED ARISES!

I have-not bought a JACKET IN YEARS!
NOT even a PUFFY KEEP WARM JACKET!
I thought you might find it SAD or INTERESTING how long I have had my clothing.
I am NOT ONE TO BUY and GET RID OF STUFF……….it’s NOT in my DNA.
One of THE LESSONS I learned from MY MOTHER is if you INVEST in a quality Piece;
it will be with YOU forever…….
(However HER way of INVESTING was purchasing ON SALE!)
She use to say “IF YOU KEEP IT LONG ENOUGH it will come BACK IN FASHION!”
I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE OTHER TWO BLOGGERS AND WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY.
They are BOTH BEAUTIFUL WOMEN INSIDE and OUT!
I am FORTUNATE enough to know both of these WOMEN!
And may I ask one more question please……..
