I know, I know…….but heck I had not been down that path so why not try it!

SO I DID!

I was told if in fact, I had the disease FND I would be able to be HYPNOTIZED.

If I do not have it it would be harder or not happen at all.

I WAS NERVOUS THE MORNING OF THE BIG DAY!

For A FEW reasons………. HOWEVER this will tell us if indeed I have the correct diagnosis.

WHICH LOOKS TO BE I DO NOT!

As I was NOT able to be HYPNOTIZED!

NOR, DO I HAVE EPILEPSY………………..I HAVE BEEN OFF THOSE ANTI-SEIZURE PILLS NOW FOR TWO WEEKS AND DO HAVE A BIT MORE ENERGY!DO YOU RECALL WHEN I WAS TOLD AT 61 YEARS OF AGE I HAD A FORM OF EPILEPSY BECAUSE THEY HAD DIAGNOSED ME WITH FOCAL SEIZURES?THAT CAME A YEAR AFTER THE LUNG DISEASE DIAGNOSIS OF……….”LADY WINDERMERE!”

A BIT TOO MUCH FOR A WOMAN WHO HAS PASSED THROUGH THE PRIME OF HER LIFE AND WAS HIT WITH A WORLD WIDE PANDEMIC AT THE SAME TIME.

COVID AND SCARRED LUNGS NOT A GREAT COMBO!

I MADE IT THROUGH THAT SO LETS GET BACK TO FUNCTIONAL NEUROLOGICAL DISORDER!

I FLUNKED THE WIRE HEAD SCAN TEST OF THREE DAYS in February 2024.

SO THEY CAME UP WITH FND.

THE CURE WAS TO BE THE CALM APP AND A PSYCHOTHERAPIST.

(I LAUGHED AND CRIED IN THE SAME MOMENT!)

I KNEW IT WAS NOT IN MY HEAD BUT HARD TO CONVINCE A DOCTOR WHO HAS NEVER SEEN YOU IN PERSON WHO YOU HAVE HAD TWO VIDEO CHATS IN THREE YEARS.A FEW EMAILS FLEW BACK AND FOURTH OVER THE YEARS AS I WAS GRATEFUL FOR THE PILLS WHICH SEEMED TO HELP MY EYE EPISODES OF NINE YEARS NOW!

I STILL EXPERIENCE THE EYE EPISODES.

So, far this month I have had TEN!

Today is May 23, 2024.

THEY ARE INCREASING RAPIDLY.

I WILL NOT GO INTO THE DETAILS BUT ITS RIGHT UP THERE WITH VERTIGO IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED THAT!

MY LIFE HAS BECOME SMALLER AND SMALLER AS THE YEARS PASS BY.

I DON’T GO OUT UNLESS I HAVE TOO.

I SELDOM ENTERTAIN.

I FEEL FAINT IN STORES SO I DO NOT SHOP ANYMORE.

WALKING IS COMPLETELY OUT FOR ME AS I GET SO OUT OF BREATH.

READING IS DIFFICULT.

COMPUTER SCREEN BOTHERS MY EYES EVEN WITH THE BLUE LIGHT GLASSES.

MY PHONE………..CREATES PROBLEMS FOR ME AS WELL. THE SCROLLING AND MOVEMENT ON THE SCREEN is not well liked by my head.

SO what am I to do?

The STANFORD doctor wants a HEARING test and an ENT DOCTOR to look into my HEAD.

In order for that to happen I need a REFERRAL from the NEUROLOGIST; I have never met in person.

He cannot make the REFERRAL without checking for WAX BUILD UP IN MY EARS!

Guess what?After three years of emails and diagnosis I finally got to meet him!

He spent an hour and a half with me!

I LIKE HIM VERY MUCH!

YOUNG AND NOT BURNED OUT BY THE SYSTEM YET.

THINKS ABOUT EVERY THING I SAY.

He did the Neurological test on me. Follow the finger up down……Tried to bring on EYE EPISODE with another form of EPLEY MANEUVER.The name escapes me now.All of this increased my headache that I had arrived with to his office, but NO EPISODES could be triggered!

I learned that if you had motion sickness as a child or adult you are MORE prone too MIGRAINES.

So, now he thinks I have Migraines.

WE HAVE GONE FULL CIRCLE!

On that note I allowed him to put 12 SHOTS OF BOTOX INTO MY HEAD!

6 in my forehead

2 in my temples

2 in the back of my head

2 in my TRAPEZIUS MUSCLE

He explained that botox has helped people with headaches.And it was discovered by the people who used it for BEAUTY ENHANCEMENTS!They noticed if they were a migraine suffer that they had very few if none at all after the injections which last from 3 to 4 months.

I told him my UNCLES PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY was the first to distribute BOTOX!

SO, now we wait and see if I have MY EYE EPISODES………..this is day ONE!

MEANWHILE WHILE I WAIT FOR LIFE TO COME BACK TO ME!

I remember not so long ago when you had an ailment you would go to the doctor and you were FIXED!

It seems ONCE YOU REACH 50 they cannot FIX MUCH OF YOU ANYMORE!

Anyone else NOTICE THAT?

Maybe it’s just ME!
