I NEED YOUR HELP!

March 13, 2017 242 Comments

SPRING TIME is CREEPING UPON US.

RIGHT SIDE

LEFT SIDE.

See my WILD PLUM trees a BLOOMING?

NOW FOR YOUR INPUT!

I have not been feeling SO good.

For a long time now………..since last MAY!

I am tired ALL THE TIME.

I found out last MAY my HEART VALVE is leaking once AGAIN!

I had that repaired 6 years ago.

IT FAILED.

But NOT enough to under go the HEART SURGERY AGAIN!

GOOD THING?

I suppose cause that wasNOT something I want to experience AGAIN!

MY problems now are EPISODES as I call them where I lose my SIGHT and FEEL like I will PASS OUT!

NOT FUN EITHER.

These have been going on now since before NOVEMBER of last year.

In NOVEMBER I started to write the EPISODES DOWN in a cute little polka dot notebook.

The EPISODES last between a minute to TWO and I have NEVER fainted.

A couple of weeks ago I had an EPISODE in my BANK.

It lasted 20 minutes.

911 was called.

From this I have seen a NEUROLOGIST.

Who thinks it is CARDIO.

I have spoken to a family friend who is a professor of NEUROLOGY

Who also thinks it is CARDIO.

I have spoken to a SURGEON who is a relative

Who thinks it is CARDIO.

Now, I have seen my MD TWICE ABOUT THIS before the 911 call.

I also have been enduring headaches EACH AND EVERY DAY for over a MONTH.

I have low BLOOD PRESSURE in general.

This last month it has BEEN HIGH!

DO WE SEE ANY RED FLAGS HERE?

SO, lets review.

THESE TESTS have been done an MRI and a  CAT SCAN; will have an EEG tomorrow!

Seen a CARDIOLOGIST from HELL.

Mine was not available.

But she does own a chicken with a hand knitted sweater! The things I can pull out of people!

I had HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE in her office.Especially after the ASSISTANT told me my CARDIOLOGIST has moved on.

I adored my DOCTOR as he has been with me from the GET GO and had dirty white sneakers on during my first procedure with him.

I believe that was an ANGIOGRAM.

I remember telling him as I was lying on THE TABLE your shoes are dirty!

He also wanted to do the PADDLES on me as the A-FIB had come back after the surgery and I said NOT TOMORROW It is my OLDEST SON’s BIRTHDAY and I have to cook!He allowed me to leave and come back a day later for the PADDLE SHOCK in the hospital.

YOU KNOW THOSE PADDLES THAT WE SEE ON TV where they bring YOU BACK TO LIFE!!!!!!?

YES!

BEEN THERE DONE THAT to correct an IRREGULAR HEART BEAT.

Back to my little book.

NO one has asked to see my little book of EPISODES from MD to SPECIALIST.

I have kept a log since NOVEMBER 8,th 2016 all episodes and feelings that were not NORMAL.

THE EPISODES happen on AVERAGE ….. every 10 days.

There have been about SEVEN really terrifying EPISODES.

What was I doing?

1.DRIVING

2.Sitting at my computer.

3.Having lunch in the city.

4.Talking to a gentleman at a party.(SO STANDING UP )

5.Sitting on the toilet pushing for number TWO.

6.Pruning my roses.

7.Sitting at my bank making a deposit.

FIVE of these I was sitting down.NOT Out of breath just SITTING!

SO,

WHAT IS MY PROBLEM?

TRUMP made it to the WHITE HOUSE without paying taxes for years.

WE PUT PEOPLE ON THE MOON.

WE HAVE CARS THAT WILL DRIVE FOR US SOON.

BUT NOBODY can FIGURE out or has the DESIRE to figure out what is happening with little old me!

I have heard from THE PROFESSIONALS

 “TAKE CARE”

“I HOPE YOU MAKE YOUR TRIP IN MAY”

“THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO FOR YOU”

YOU MIGHT SAY I AM A BIT FRUSTRATED.

ANGRY could be another ADJECTIVE.

The CARDIOLOGIST has put me on BLOOD PRESSURE medicine HER WORDS not mine

“TO CALM ME!”

MAYBE I am suffering from HIGH Blood PRESSURE and this is the RESULT?

They have also started me on MIGRAINE Meds……

for the headaches

which I took a pill yesterday and it did NOTHING.

Mind YOU I can function with the headaches.

Headache starts at the back of the neck then works it’s way to my temples.

I know YOU are a SMART GROUP of PEOPLE.

SO, Iam asking for YOUR INPUT.

I need to know WHERE TO GO NEXT.

AS you all know I have a TRIP LOOMING in MAY ;I must be IN TIP TOP SHAPE!

I have PEOPLE TO MEET and places to WALK.

NO TIME for FAINTING SPELLS

AND

MY GOD I NEED TO SEE THE LAND OF THE QUEEN!

JUST UP from a NAP the both of us.

I sleep between 8 to 10 hours a night and still need to NAP!

If his TUFFET was big enough for the TWO of US I would be hugging him as we nap………..

He loves to be touched and to have his Tummy Rubbed.

He brings JOY.

MOUNDS of JOY to MY LIFE!

DO YOU HAVE JOY?

I have decided THAT is my NEW WORD for 2017.

OH,JOY!

THAT use to be my message on my cell phone!

Time to bring it BACK!

PS.I decided to ask my VET just to see if she had any advise.

DO you know she has the same thing happening to HER!

Except she FAINTS.

She has even been to the MAYO CLINIC in SCOTTSDALE.

THIS IS A  MYSTERY which needs to be SOLVED.

ANY input I would GREATLY APPRECIATE.

The medical profession is FAILING ME at the moment and I just had ANOTHER EPISODE before POSTING this BLOG POST!

TOO YOUNG FOR THIS

NEVER MIND MY DRIVING IS LIMITED as I have NO WARNING to when another EPISODE will APPEAR!

XOXO

    VIA EMAIL: Hi Elizabeth,

Sorry for the brevity of this note. Just saw you had posted about your ongoing condition. I am so sorry you are going through this. The good news is you are nearby Alta Bates/Summit. There is a cardiologist-electrophysiologist affiliated with the hospital who is excellent. So you won’t have to travel far, but you make have to get some kind of pre-approval to go out of network (Kaiser). His name is George Horvath, Alta Bates will have his number.

If he’s not practicing anymore they will have a great referral for you.

    Hello my contessa!

I just read your latest post and felt compelled to write. I am so sorry your are going through this!

My sister had the same issues (blackouts, vision, heart, migraines….) for several years until her problems were finally diagnosed. They stemmed from the Vagus nerve. Below are just a couple of lines that describe the condition but this is something you must check with your doctor. I am surprised they didn’t even mention this possibility!

My sister has been on medication since she was diagnosed over 5 years ago and is doing fine, though she did 2 mild episodes over the past 5 years but NOTHING like she went through prior to the diagnosis.
    Please ask you doctor!!
Thinking of you and sending much love to all (including the animals, of course!)????????
Some people are particularly prone to the vasovagal reflex, and their blood pressure and heart rate changes can cause loss of consciousness – a condition called “vasovagal syncope.” Excessive activation of the vagus nerve is also seen in certain medical conditions, especially the dysautonomias.
This condition is also called orthostatic hypotension. Poor blood circulation. Conditions such as cardiomyopathy, heart attack, heart arrhythmia and transient ischemic attack could cause dizziness. And a decrease in blood volume may causeinadequate blood flow to your brain or inner ear.

Definitely right side looks better. You really had some good advice and comments. Hopefully you find answers SOON! My niece had fainting spells as a teenager, they found she had 2 holes in her heart that she probably was born with. Thank goodness she didn’t go deep sea diving with her mother! Get yourself to Mayo or the doctors that were suggested. Food can be a factor to your health, plus a lack of the right vitamins. I have found if I keep my body in the alkaline side my joints don’t hurt. Too much acid produced by wine, beer, chips, etc. really affects me, so when I have overdosed on unhealty foods, I take my apple cider vinegar, 1T in a small glass of water before breakfast. It taste terrible, but it works. It will give you potassium also for energy. Some people take it 3 times a day before meals, but I don’t. Have to use Braggs brand. Since my husband died, I also take pantothenic (B5) to help with adrenals. It keeps me from being anxious and depressed. Works wonders for me! i am going to Australia next Tuesday, so my friend told me to take Super Aloe 450 so I won’t get plugged up on my trip. It will take 15 hours from San Francisco to get there, and 19 hours from Sydney to Dallas to get back!! It better be worth it! Love the pearls also. Get well soon. Start doing your own research, and listen to your own body. Keep us posted. We all love you, and don’t want you to miss you trip!!!!!

You sound very stressed and frustrated which is totally understandable. My only suggestion is to keep it simple. If you soon don’t get the help you need, make an appointment with the Mayo Clinic for a thorough check up. We are not doctors and the body is complicated so we need experts to help us. Stress is not good and makes things worse. Your health is important. I am 65 and when my doctor retires, I ‘m asking to be referred to a doctor who specializes in seniors. It’s different with your body as you get older. Good luck my friend.

    Hello Contessa,
We have not “met” yet but I have been enjoying your blogs for some time now! This blog
has me concerned to the point of stepping out from the “shadows” so to speak and commenting.
I agree 100% with Libby and Susan. Mayo clinic is beyond thorough -alas- also VERY expensive.
My mother used to go every 5 years or so. They diagnosed the beginnings of Emphysema before
any symptoms showed up. A 2 pack a day of Pall Mall unfiltered for 50 years habit-UGH! As a result
of that visit- she went COLD TURKEY- HALLELUJAH! Clearly you are not satisfied with the medical
care you are receiving- LISTEN to that inner voice we call INTUITION. I advise going to a facility with an
excellent reputation such as Mayo Clinic or Brigham -even John Hopkins- that will run tests on EVERYTHING.
You are very PRECIOUS to so many…….please do keep us posted.

To start with, I am very concerned that this is happening to you. You are young, vibrant and deserve the best!! As we spoke over the weekend, I started to recollect all the various symptoms of heart disease that my father suffered through for many years. The thing to remember is that there can be more than one thing amiss with the heart. For him, it all started with feelings of imbalance and dizzy spells. Ultimately, after a triple bypass and a procedure which implanted a “Watchman device”, he still needed a pacemaker to regulate those times where his blood pressure would drop low enough that he needed a boost. Keep searching for your answers…. I will give you the name and number for my Dad’s Cardiologist here in San Diego, via text. Ultimately, we all know that the right doctor will make all the difference here. I want that right doctor to show up NOW for you.

I’m waiting most impatiently for my pearls….

    Baci,
    Diana

THIS should not be happening to our DEAR Contessa! First of all, I agree with several other commentors, you probably have more than one problem. Headaches, dizziness, high blood pressure, racing heart, tiredness. These could be caused by allergies. It’s been raining a lot in your neck of the woods. It could be molds in your garden, or, have you checked for mold in your house? The feed for your chickens and pig can also have mold in them. Also, I would stop the cashew milk or almond milk. Many people have allergies to nuts. Even minor ones can cause problems. You can have the air in your house tested for mold.

Not saying allergies are you only problem but they could be a contributing factor. I was an asthmatic until I was 32. I worked for a large medical group at the time so decided to get a full allergy panel. Turns out I had a lot of small allergies. One at a time was not a problem but when combined I would get hives and severe asthma. I grew up with a mother who constantly served dishes with mushrooms and bleu cheeses – both molds. I am also allergic to corn and pork. (Interestingly, pigs are treated with penicillin which is a mold to keep them healthy.) Since eliminating the foods that trigger my allergies, I have not had an asthma attack in over 30 years and feel strong and very energetic.

The suggestion of the Mayo Clinic is a very good one. However, you to do have to travel far. There is one in Scottsdale Arizona.

Hugs, hugs, hugs. Here’s hoping you get to the bottom of this soon. We need our wonderful Contessa!

Mine comes from good and bad adrenalin….Mine was diagnosed as nervous disorder that you don’t know you have other than these symptoms. Kinda like panic attacks. All this was so surprising to me but I take a medication that helps tremendously!!!!! I still stay tired but I make sure I rest and nap. I also pray a lot! So very sorry to hear about your episodes.
They must be quite unsettling for you. The frustration of the doctors not providing a diagnosis must be overwhelming!

I wanted to ask if anyone has addressed your diet, and the possibilty of low blood sugar? It may need to be regulated, but then you may have already been tested. If not, you might consider it.

I hope you receive a relevant diagnosis soon. It sounds like you have done every thing on your part to solve this problem through exams and asking questions. Please keep us updated on your progression, we are all sending you our best thoughts and energy!

How smart of you to tap into this wonderful source of very bright friends. Some wonderful suggestions and I am hoping you immediately book with one of the suggested clinics.
I WILL DRIVE YOU ANYWHERE INCLUDING SFO OR OAK to get you there or down to Stanford.
    Side note:
Are you on a lot of different meds? I am reminded of my Mother who suffered many of the same symptoms. She was in her 70’s when se arrived for a visit with a small brown bag full of prescriptions. Fourteen in all! All from her Texas MD who seemed to over prescribe at that time. She was suffering blackouts, disorientation, HBP, etc. She could not find her way upstairs at my house and slurred speech. I took her to my MD and he told her she did not need the majority of her rx and tossed most of them. By the end of the week, we were taking walks. no slurred speech and many of her other symptoms had disappeared. I am here if you need me.

Dear Elizabeth, sending from my phone so hope it works. I second the comments to keep pushing for answers from as many sources as necessary. It’s not related I know, but I was feeling foggy & couldn’t concentrate, worried I was starting dementia! I asked for blood tests – came back normal but was told I had a uribaryvtract infection – no symptoms. Out on antibiotics & felt fine. Was told that this often happens to people in nursing homes & they are treated for dementia – but if tested are often found to have a UTI as I did – the symptoms are mistaken. So I’m just saying, push for every possible test as it could be something easily fixed but masking as something else. I’d read all the comments here & write down each suggestion in a notebook, then ‘group’ the suggestions into like minded comments, then follow up those that resonate with you & see if you can come up with an answer. Much love & light to you Chick! Xxxx oh and dibtbfirgetvtovinvestigate possible food allergies and … I wouldn’t dismiss trying some alternative therapy such as Reiki – might boost the mainstream medical care you’re getting. Contessa, This is so distressing. I just got done seeing a cardiologist also and the first thing they should have had you do is wear one of those 14 day monitor things that are now just small patches. That will give them a clue as to what is happening. I think you first of all need another cardiologist. Have you considered going to UCSF? I have a friend who worked there so I can get you a referral to the right person and they are where you want to go when you’ve got something other doctors can’t solve. Stanford is another option. One thing you also need is an echocardiogram. I’m having one next week. You may just need a pacemaker. My friend was having fainting episodes and he got one at 47. Has been fine forever. It could also be the blood pressure coupled with anxiety. My mother had a few of these episodes and thinking she might have one made her blood pressure skyrocket. I’m so sorry you’ve been dealing with this. Most of all, take care and I’ll get back to you today witha name of a doctor at UC. We have two world class institutions right here and one of them should be able to get to the bottom of this. Much love, Kim

I’m so very unhappy that you are going through this. I thought I was dying last summer (at its worst when we came for dinner) and it turned out to be a bad case of gastro-esophageal reflux disease. It took three doctors and a lot of insistence to get something more than “you’re tired and stressed”. I still think I have something else going on, but most of the symptoms have relaxed. This isn’t to say that this is your issue, only that you must pester them constantly to get the right help. Demand it! Are you Kaiser? If so, you have to be especially persistent. Unfortunately this is more of a problem with women than men in the medical profession. Take your husband with you.

Chemotherapy for breast cancer 14 years ago did a real number on my heart. In addition to the mitral valve prolapse–leaky valve–I’ve had since my 20’s, chemo caused A-Fib and A-Flutter which caused low BP and me to grey out and lots of 911 visits to the hospital and scenes like yours in the bank.

My cardiologist finally had me wear a heart monitor until it recorded one of these episodes. Then when they confirmed the type of arrhythmia, we started experimenting–not fun–with meds until we found the right one. Now I take Sotalol twice a day and for the most part, they’ve stopped unless I’m stressed, then they start up. The good news is I can stop them by bearing down like I’m going to the bathroom. It effectively resets your heart rhythm.

A lot of it has been mind over matter, knowing what the problem is and that I won’t allow this to progress. In other words, I don’t panic and let “it” take over. I also immediately start doing Dr. Andrew Weil’s breathing exercises: Inhale for 4; hold for 7; exhale for 8.

There’s a downside to Sotalol… It lowers my potassium, which has landed me in ER twice now, so I put a banana in a smoothie every day and all is good on that front.

I don’t know if this is what you have, but it may give you and your doctors something to think about. Brenda

When there is a medical mystery to be solved, I would be on my way to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland. You already have had tests done, which they would require. Ask your doctor MD to make the call for faster appmt. My sister-in-law was prescribed the wrong medication for ten years based on a misdiagnosis, that too many doctors confirmed until she could barely stand. Hopkins figured it out. My best friend had been treated for years for mini strokes. Doctors were recommending drastic procedures. I pushed her to go to Hopkins…they refuted her diagnosis…she never suffered a stroke…mini or anything else. Incredible isn’t it! Today, she is fine. I would seriously consider Johns Hopkins, Elizabeth. Sending prayers.

Oh Dear God! I cannot even imagine the fear. That you were sitting and not even exerting energy suggests it is not the heart but the valve. I am not a doctor, but I know what I would do. I would get an appointment at a Research Hospital. San Francisco must have a top-notch Research Hospital… does Stanford have one. I would be headed to University of Chicago…which is where I went for a second opinion when I had a mass in my abdomen….AND…UIC nailed it. They knew what it was. This may mean you will see young doctors in training ALONG with the Master Doctors. It is well worth it! That is the only advice I am qualified to give. My thoughts are with you and I want this to end. You are too young for this!!!

    Dear Contessa
What you said just describes what my husband has gone through since last May, hope this helps in view of treatments, for his situation of course. He was playing golf with a friend who is a physician when he just could not go uphill without losing his breath, he was sent immediately to the cardiologist who did not find anything unusual but our friend demanded that his pulmonary artery should be checked( now why that was not done who knows) and that artery was 90% blocked and at the same time they found he needed a valve replacement, we decided for the stent first, without the valve replacement which infuriated the cardiologist(yes I said infuriated the doc) as you know having a valve replacement is no picnic. Our friend did some research as I had heard that Mount Sinai in NY was doing a new procedure (we live in Ct) and he found an italian professor who still teaches in Italy and was starting to do this new procedure here in Stamford. Now our friend’s nephew is a famous professor of cardialogy in Italy, so he got in touch with this professor in Stamford, where we have a brand new cardio center , with all the the state of the art treatment,s and long story short, my husband had this new procedure done last Jan. Will describe the procedure: no opening of the chest, no months of recovery etc.. It is done through the groin, takes 4 days of recovery in hospital, believe me it was a miracle , the only thing my husband could not do was driving , no lifting for 10 days, it is a success…I found that you have to do a lot of research, no acceptance of bullying etc… Now our cardiologist who was so irrate gives us superb treatment as he has to deal with this professor at the hospital. Mind you our cardiologist has been the number one in our county with all sorts of awards!!!
Perhaps you should also wear a medical alert device, plus a pace maker and defibrillator which I have to wear having also cardiac problems, another story of my heart having been destroyed due to radiation for breast cancer, which no one warns you about, actually senator Ted Kennedy’daughter died from this…
Sorry for this long message but thought you might profit from our experiences. If you would like the names of the professor let me know perhaps he could put you in touch with someone in california. I also thought you would like that he is also an Italian!!! as I know the love you have for your own. Hope my english is understandable as I am French!!!

Anyway wishing you all the best. Affectionately

Elizabeth, this must be so infuriating for you! You JUST want it sorted out. How about getting a second opinion from another doctor? I wish I could send you to my uncle in North Carolina. He is one of those doctors that specialises in many things (cardio, pulmonary, sleep disfunction, etc). He really does know everything… paediatrics, eczema and skin disorders, he is just a walking treasure trove of medical knowledge. My sister has a leaking valve in her heart (hers was replaced with a pig valve several years ago) and she has a specialist who she believes to be brilliant (after two surgeries and 15 years with him) but that doctor is in Atlanta. If you ever get desperate enough to go to Atlanta or North Carolina for answers, I’m your girl. Keep me posted. I need you in tip top shape in London! xxxx

Come to Boston, Massachusetts and see a Cardiologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital or Massachusetts General Hospital. Get a second opinion. Most health insurance companies allow for a second opinion. Both are renown hospitals with specialists in all areas. Diagnostically they are outstanding. I have no doubt they can solve your health problem. You must get to the bottom of this health problem. You are far to busy and very important to all of us to let this stay unsolved.

Just a thought. You may want a complete general work up similar to what Libby has suggested. I am concerned that if you see only a cardiologist, something could be missed. You may have a cardiology problem, but you may have a secondary issue that is non- cardiology related.

Debating whether to write you an email or put this out here…but decided maybe others could benefit. THE place to go for something like this is the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. THE place my dear: that’s it. They do some sort of (I don’t know the exact name) comprehensive, multi-department, work up. It’s a real team effort for about 2-3 days, I think. Exhaustive and complete. My sister in law who was very sick and even NIH in D.C. didn’t diagnose properly, went here and yes, within 3 days they nailed it. My father went to the one in Jacksonville, Fl. and same thing. I really do encourage you to call and go. I am assuming they don’t really do a “waiting list” as everyone who goes through this needs help ASAP. Let us know what you find out, ok?
Also, my sister was an MD at Mass General and is now on the Board: I’ll ask her, although she was research and lab so may not be able to help.
I feel so badly for you. Good health is certainly something we all take so for granted…until it’s not there.

Oh Dear. I am feeling so frustrated for you. My first thought is blood pressure, but it doesn’t really make sense with your history. My mom once suffered from bad vertigo. She felt faint, but did not black out. Anyway, she discovered it was what they call gravel in her ears. An ENT and physical therapist helped her. I see readers are giving you doctor referrals already. Do not be discouraged if some of these doctors are not in your city and state. I know people who have been seen while sitting at their computers from doctors near and far. Yes, that is right…some doctors will Skype with you! And yes, you may need to see them in person at some point, but that’s doable if it is only a handful of times. Worth it if you can find the right person. Praying for you Elizabeth and I hope other readers can offer up more good advice.

It can take quite a bit of tinkering to get your blood pressure under control – especially if you don’t identify the cause for the blood pressure suddenly rising.
BP meds can also cause dizziness themselves so possible, they are addressing your HBP, but maybe your potassium levels are a bit off.
Try to take your BP at home throughout the day so you have some sort of idea if the meds are working.
Yes, HBP can cause the symptoms you are referring to.

I second EVERYTHING said above; I looked online and if I were you I’d contact Dr. Mushlin”s office and find out when he would be able to see you – and the sooner the better! I’d do the same thing with Dr. Chung; explain your situation to each, ask for help, find out everything you can about each doctor and if he/she would be an appropriate match. Clearly, something is awry … you need more care than you are getting! I didn’t exhaust the search of information available about each of these doctors, but Mushlin sounds like a man with a bit of a sense of humor, always a plus in my book. (Also a Jeopardy champion – is that significant?) See what YOU think about each, and trust your judgment – or gut – in the process. The other big factor is when you might be able to get an appointment. I think you are completely right to want to do something else! You must be feeling medically abandoned at the moment. Hate that you are having such a terrible time, but I believe that you will find the help you need.

      dizziness
      heart palpitations
      vision changes
blood pressure changes (from my usual low/normal blood pressure to high diastolic pressure)
So here is my suggestion. Do not assume it is just one disease. Rule out other things too. For example, I am on medicine for low thyroid but my thyroid went high. I had all of those symptoms above. I felt like I was going to pass out, I felt dizzy, I had heart palpitations, I was so tired and breathless. I had blurred vision and sometimes when I got dizzy would feel like I was going blind. A good gp owes it to you to rule out other causes. I am sure you have heart problems but a good gp should rule out other problems which might compound your heart problems. Some MDs do not like it if you suggest a cause or diagnosis. Their ego kicks in and they say, “oh no it couldn’t be that”. You might just say something to your gp like: “It would be too bad if something fixable is making the heart problem worse…” That gives him/her the opening to say: “Well, maybe let’s check for…”. By the way, one time I had all the above symptoms. I was at ER for my brother who had been admitted when the ER doctor looked at me and asked are you feeling okay? I said I had a bit of chest pain. He ended up admitting me to ER for the day while he tested my heart I had not had a heart attack but he referred me to a cardiac clinic which referred me prescribed medicine (which I did not take) and to have a cardiac angiogram at the hospital. When it was done, my arteries were great. My doctor got back from holidays, I told him all of this. I mentioned the medicine not taken because I had a bad feeling about it. He said it was a good thing that I hadn’t taken it. The first thing he asked was: Did they check your thyroid levels? I said no. He said “let’s do it”and the result then (like recently) was my thyroid levels had gone too high. Once it was at normal levels, I felt lots better. There is no law that says you can only have one thing wrong with you. I am very worried about you. Keep looking for answers.

All I can say is WTF. Although we have never met, I feel a kinship with you. For one thing, we are about the same age, and I would be mad as hell if such things where happening to me and my doctors shrugged their shoulders. TOO YOUNG.
On the other hand, it’s true that the medical profession hasn’t figured out everything yet. There are still many mysteries. But honestly this seems like one that could be figured out. Heart abnormality. Fainting. High/low blood pressure. Headaches. It isn’t cancer, for crying out loud. That is a big mystery still. Did you know that the first organ researchers hope to make with 3D printing (using cells, not plastic!) is a heart? Because it’s just mechanical, a pump, and doesn’t do any magical/mysterious metabolic functions.
I just heard about a doctor who is a real-life Dr. House, diagnosing medical mysteries: Dr. Stuart Mushlin, medical director of Brigham Circle Medical Associates at the Boston Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Also Dr. Wendy Chung, NewYork Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center.
Good luck!!! Keep us posted. Feel free to complain. We won’t unsubscribe. You can dump here.
    Sending you moral support….
